Excellent coffee shop at a main crossroad in the neighborhood. It has a beautiful outdoor terrace seatings and a good number of tables inside, too. A lot of options for both coffee and non-coffee.

Fantastic coffee shop. The employees all seem to love their job and the food/drink they serve. They can be a tiny bit pricey but worth it. Great vibes, perfect for working. Also they have a wall of products made by some of the baristas. Got these amazing pickle stain glass earrings from it!

My mother and I popped in here before work this morning, and we loved our lattes, pastry, and the service! I love the gothy-ness of the decor, the decent amount of seating, cool staff-made art for sale, and even the mildly lower lighting (in contrast to other coffee shops that feel retina-burningly bright). Very queer and alternative-friendly vibes, too. Definitely stop by for a visit if you're in the area - I liked it a lot!

My wife and I love this place. We walk over all the time. Hexe has a great, big patio which is perfect for nice days. The coffee is always good, and they have a solid food selection too. It's cool that they also offer alcoholic drinks and have fun events like trivia. Plus, they always have water bowls out for dogs, which is a nice touch. It's just a great all-around spot in the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Don't let the slightly unusual vibe fool you - this place is quality. After extensive sampling, I think this is in the top 3 croissants in Chicago. Look at the flake. Coffee is excellent, too.

A very dark, Gothic themed coffee shop where menu items are price $6.66, skull shaped pastries, and ghoulish designs are set. It was cool vibes and the decaf espresso is quality. It seems like a great spot to work and hangout at as well.

"Hexe means witch, in German", is what yhe human at the counter said. It's strangely cozy, as industrial as it is. I got the whiskey barrel light brew espresso cortado and it tastes as amazing as it smells. My girl got a bespoke syrup tea. London Fogs are hard to get right, and they do. The savory, buffalo scone is a banger, ask for it warmed up, and round out your palatte with the bundt and tahini cookie. No notes.

I was amazed by my latte and will definitely be back. I got it made with one of their seasonal roasts, Krampus, which is maple bourbon barrel aged, which surely helped.
